Swine Flu Vaccine

Hi Doc

Do you know when South Africa will get the swine flu vaccine? Where will it be available? At your local GP, pharmacy? Will it be on a first-come, first served basis? Or will it be given to anyone who asks for it? Or to those with underlying conditions?

Thanks

Dear Concerned
Swine flu vaccines are still in clinical trial phase, and not available anywhere yet. However, it will probably be available soon and will be distributed by GP's and pharmacies like the normal flu vaccine. They will probably want to immunize as many people as possible when the vaccine becomes available.
