sweating at night

I am 35 years old. No health problems, not overweight etc. I only wear a long sleeve pajama top and pajama pants to bed. And it is not thick material. No electric blankets. I wake up with my pajamas wet from sweat almost every night, it is so bad that sometimes I have to change my pajamas. What can the reason be?
