I would just like to find out if excessive Sweating of the Hands and Feet could at all be linked to an Underactive thyroid and not only over active thyroid?

Hallo Kiki
Usually an underactive thyroid will cause dry skin - you may have hyperhidrosis

Home remedy for sweaty hands or feet: Boil five tea bags in a 500ml water for five minutes. When the solution cools, soak your hands or feet for twenty to thirty minutes in the mixture. Tea contains tannic acid, which is thought to be partly responsible for its antiperspirant action.
