Substitute for Eggs

Hi Doc,

Can you please advise on a substitute for eggs for baking purposes? I''ve noticed numerous American recipe sites mentioning an egg substitute.

Thank you.

Dear Wondering
I must admit that I have not heard of an "egg substitute" in SA. I know that you can buy powdered egg and powdered egg white, which are mainly used in manufacturing processes, but I don't yet know about an egg substitute. You could check at your local health shop because they sometimes import such products from other countries.
