storage of alpha hydroxy cream

Dear Doc

What is the best storage method for my alpha hydroxy and vitamin cream? Should I keep it in the fridge to protect the active ingredients?
Thanks.

Hi JJ, thank you for the question and my apologies for the delay with my answer.

The best storage method for ingredients found in creams is in a cool dark area, preferable below 20 degrees Celsius. Certain vitamins become oxidized and turn unstable no matter how you store them and have a short lifespan (1 to 3 months).
