Stitch while doing cardio

Is it normal to not only get a stitch in your stomach (side) but in the base of your throat????

What causees stitches and how can i avoid them?

Hi Kelly

Yes, that one is common. It's caused by tension in the muscle, causing it to spasm. It comes from the shoulder and neck, and so you have to just relax those muscles. Drop your shoulders, relax, let your elbows hang a little more relaxed by your side and the tension should go away. Once it happens, stretch it out and it should also go away!
