Stinky nose germs...

Hi, I have heard that you can get some fungus or germs or something in your nose which has a stinky smell to it and that it could affect your breath.

What is this? How do you get it? How do you get rid of it? How do you prevent it?

Advice will be appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

Your nose and mouth is full of germs. They occur naturally and have a spesific purpose. If you however, suffer from chronic sinusitis, due to Staphyllococcus, you can have a permanent nasal discharge, which will cause a chronic bad smell and taste in your mouth. Treatment will be with antibiotics and nasal sprays.

Kind regards
