stiffness 9 months after birth

Dear Gyneadoc

Ever since having my baby 9 months ago, I have stiffness in my hips &  legs when waking up and after exercise. Particularly when I get up in the morning I have to walk slowly as my legs (joints?) are stiff. Do you know what this could be? I thought it could be the hormone relaxin still working its way out of my body, but its 9 months later already.
thank you
Alison

Relaxin would not be present 9 months later. I would guess that it is not related to the delivery and that you should see a rheumatologist.
Best wishes
