I AM SEEING AN OSTEOPATH WHO ACCIDENTALLY ' SPRUNG ONE OF MY FRONT RIBS' . WHAT EXACTLY DOES THIS MEAN AND HOW DOES ONE TREAT IT? RECOVERY TIME?

Dear Rib
It is an chiropractic term meaning that the rib moved a little outwards due to trauma on the opposite side of the rib cage. I am not sure how they treat this , probably by manipulation it back into position? It is not broken or dislocated.
