Sprained ankle

Hi. My daughter (aged 13) sprained her ankle at school during PE about 3 months ago. It is still slightly swollen and gets very sore at times when she plays hockey. Will this injury heal in time or do I have to get it assessed? Who do I take her to, to have it checked out? Will it help to apply heat to the ankle at night when she is relaxed?

after 3 months it should have been better - you should take her to an orthopedic surgeon
