Our expert says:
There is no such diagnosis. It is purely a lay term used by ignorant journalists. It was a term once popularly used to describe Schizophrenia, and also later for an extremely rare disorder ( unless it is artificially created by an incompetent shrink ) once called Multiple Personality Disorder, and now DID, Dissociative Identity Disorder. It always getsd worse in treatment by somneone interested in the disorder, and tends to clear up when handled by someone who doesn't believe in it.
