SPF

Hi,

Please clarify something. The higher the SPF, does that mean the longer protection? If I use an SPF of 15 is the " strenghth"  still the same as a SPF of 50 just that with the 15 your prectection doesnt last long and one will need to re-apply for often.

Hi Lisel, thank you for the question.

This is an interesting and important question: not all sunscreens are the same so the general ‘strength’ or effectiveness varies between products. You are 100% correct if we took that they are all equally effective then a SPF 15 differs to a SPF 50 only on the length of time that one’s skin is protected.
