A really good GP might be able to handle it, too, but if it IS Sleep Apnoea ( a sleep clinic can also help greatly, to do a proper assessment ) then the treatment is relatively complex. Have you noticed the periods of silence at night, bewtween, usually just after severe snoring, when, if you look closely, he doesn't seem to be breathing at all for a short while ?
