smoking - clear lungs?

Hi,
Is it true that your lungs become clear and pink again after seven years of quitting smoking? Also is it a myth that you pick up weight after quitting? please help, i am desperate to stop and want to know that after seven years my lungs will be okay!!!

Because you smell and taste better you can run the risk of picking up weight so please just watch what you eat in the first 2 months after stopping smoking. It should balance out after that. Chew sugarfree gum to keep your mouth busy!

There are more important reason to quit smoking like weight gaining and pink lungs!
Try you overall health for instance!!!!!!!
Quit now and eat lots of fruit if you get cravings
