Dear Lebo
As mentioned in my previous answer, the use of jaw wiring for growing children and teenagers is not advisable. You would have to ask your dentist at what age they would contemplate inserting jaw wiring in a young person. Until the child/teenager has stopped developing his or her body and brain and nervous system, it is not a good idea to use jaw wiring for weightloss.
Best regards

This sounds extremely uncomfortable and drastic. Rather take your child to a dietician or nutritionalist and deal with the weight/eating habits in a natural way.
