Sleeplessness

I have suffered for years with a form of hallucinations during sleep. They are vivid and disruptive. Any ideas as to what they could be?

I am not sure what you are describing - this description is the same as people give for vivid dreams. There is something called "hypnogogic hallucinations", but they happen while you are actually awake. If they are troubling, you should see a sleep doctor.
