skin sensitivity

Skin sensitivity at inner thigh in a band around to buttocks on one leg. No visibly change to skin but very sensitive to touch. Started about 3 weeks ago and not improving. 52 yrs old and had Chicken Pox about 8rs ago. Shingles?

Shingles will be a definate red, inflamed, blistery skin reaction and will be very painful. I suggest that you consult your doctor for an examination, to have a definate diagnosis made.
