Sinus infections

Dear Doc

I would just like to know about sinus infections, please:

1. Can a sinus infection affect the rest of the body?
2. Can it lead to bronchitis or pneumonia?

Thanks :)
Julia

Hallo Julia
A sinusinfection affects only the cavities in the face, but you can develop fever, blocked nose and pain in the face which can make you feel miserable all over. The post nasal drip can infection your lungs causing bronchitis or pneumonia
