Sick Maid

Hi there,

My Maid has been told that she has bleeding on the brain but must still go for further tests. She will probably need an operation and then need to recuperate. We cannot afford to pay two maids, can she go on Disability or something similar? How can I do it legally that I can temporary employ a maid whilst she recovers?

Thank you

You might have to go through an exercise as contained in the Schedule 8 of the Labour Relations Act where you would dismiss for the inability to carry on with her work.
