Sick dog

I suspect my dog has tick bite fever, but I really can' t afford a vet right now, is there some kind of over the counter treatment I can give him that I can get from the pharmacy?

Dear Anon

You can buy Berenil at the co-op but you still need to inject him.

If you suspect tick bite fever every second counts.
Do not wait the suffering is excruciating.
Get to a vet asap or SPCA asap!!

Tick bite fever is pretty serious and you may not be able to get over the counter remedies for this. Maybe you could try taking the dog to an SPCA vet if you cant afford the meds
