Hi Mona

No, it can be pretty risky because there's a risk of an infection spreading to the heart and then it can cause heart attack and sudden death. It is one of the more common reasons why fit athletes sometimes die tragically during exercise.

So rather be cautious and avoid it. On top of that, exercise will be so unpleasant that it's just not worth it. So take some time off, recover properly and run well after the illness.

Good luck
