Should I worry?

Hi Doc, I have a small lump on my head. I do not get headaches and are quite healthy. How would I know if this is just a gland or something more serious like a tumour? It doesn' t bother me medically at all I was just wondering what the difference is between a gland and something more serious? Thanks

I suggest that you consult your doctor for an examination. A gland is normally soft, not attached to the tissue around it and well defined in shape.
