Hi Suziee

Your problems could very well be the cause of your shortness of breathe, as it may often be stress related. If you are going thru a difficult time this could very well the cause.

Learning diaphragmatic breathing techniques can assist with shortness of breathe on two conditions:

1. That there are not any physiological sypmtoms at play which have not been diagnosed.
2. That these techniques are augmented with cognitive behavioural techniques like mindfulness or self-hypnosis.

I strongly suggest you look into finding some way to resolve the the problem situation before stress related asthma presents.

Please feel feel to reply with your location and I can refer or assist.

Kindest regards,
Justin
