As you can see above I work all the different shifts, my main concern is the health hazards associated with working night shift and as you can see in many instances when I come off a night shift that is at 7am then the same day I have to start work at 2pm that is just 7hours between shifts.
I also do not feel safe working night shift anymore as there has been a few incedents that make me scared as we do not have security at night nor do we have any cameras all i have to keep me safe is a panic button which does not work half the time. In my work contract it states that i have to work some night shifts if i had to inform my employer that i no longer want to work night shift due to my health and safety being at risk can they fire me? Another question how do i go about asking my employer that i would like to under go a medical examination to see if my shifts are affect my health.

Re: Shift Work

Unfortunately the shifts look in order. Many people do work a night shift and it is not good for their health. You need to try and change this if they allow.

It would be worth your while to contact the Department of Labour who can properly structure the correct amount of time off between shifts because that appears to be a problem.
