Shaky hands

I am a 22 year female. Since i can remember my hands have always been shaky. Recently alot of people have noticed and sometimes I can' t even write properly. It' s getting worse and I' m getting worried....
I don' t believe it' s nerves.
What could this be?

Dear Nadine
Some people have a familial tremor and there are medications one can use for it. Caffeine, certain medications and smoking can aggravate it and it can also be caused by thyroid hormone problems. Your doctor may need to do some blood tests and examine you to see if you need to see a neurologist
