You can start having intercourse about one month after birth (only if she is comfortable). Do not force the issue. If she had a tare or a cut to help her to give birth, you will have to wait until she has healed completely.

We were unable to have sex for 3.5 months after our baby was born, but her''s was a very traumatic birth - they cut me, tried to turn her (she was face up), and eventually they had to use a suction cup on her. Take it slow, and don''t get angry / frustrated if it''s still too painful for her.
