Sesamoiditis

I hve been having pain in my foot for the past few months and my podiatrist has recently told me that i have Sesamoiditis.

Should i stop gym altogether for a whie in order to let my foot heal completely?

The most important treatment for sesamoiditis is rest. You can carry on with Gym, but no exercises where you will be weightbearing on that area. Ice and anti-inflammatories will speed up recovery as well as using a well cushioned shoe or orthotic to redistribute pressure.
