My ex en ek is so ses maande uit mekaar,hy werk al vir die afgelope vier jaar nie en bring geen of minimum inkomste in die huis in.Ek betaal al vir die afgelope 4jaar die bakkie en die huis,is hy nou geregtig op die helfde van die huis se waarde en as hy is wat kan ek doen om hom uit te koop

Depends on contract. Married in community of property, or out of but with accrual, then he can claim half of either all assets, or only those accrued since you got married.

If you do not want him to take " stuff" , you can make him a cash offer to buy his share of asset value. If he refuses the amount you offer him saying its too low, then you can then get an assessment done on the value of the assets, rpesent this to court, and have them declare the amount liable an order of the court, which he cannot refuse on the basis that it is too little.
