separation - divorce

how long after a separation to you decide to get divorced - do you give it a month, 6 or a year?

Hi Charne,
There are no rules here. This is something you have to feel what is right for you but the longer a separation the less the chances for reconciliation. If you are married and have been separated for a while I would advise to look at your options. Remaining married without any hopes of getting back together will not allow you to move forward.
You may want to seek counselling to explore your options and what is holding you back.
