Sediment in urine

I am a 59 year old male who had kidney stone problems about 10 years ago. The other night I was forced to urinate into a glass bottle at about 3:30 am. On cleaning the bottle I noticed a sediment consisting of gold coloured granules. Is this normal or is a problem?

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

It is normal to have sediment present in your urine. I do however, suggest that you increase your fluid intake to at least 10 glasses of water a day.

Kind regards
