Schizophrenia &  non-stop erection

I have a 25 year old brother who was diagnosed as a schizo and he is currently on medication. Everything seems to be going well except that at times he gets a permanent erection that does not want to go away. It normally lasts for about 12 hours or so. Is there a procedure he can undergo to stop this from happening?

There can be numerous possible causes for this, but i would be wise to rather urgently inform his doctor ( who can check out whether any of his current meds might be causing this ; and a urologist who might be able to consider other possible causes for this, which is called Priapism.
Among the drugs which can cause this are Zuprexa, and Risperdal, which could be medications used for his schizophrenia, and also in some people, some antidepressants.

It might be the medication he is on. Do you know what his meds are?
