Our expert says:
Most power sports products contain ingredients that may help with weightloss and muscle development, but there is not yet sufficient scientific evidence that these ingredients work. I am personally not in favour of slimming products that contain massive doses of vitamins and minerals as this could lead to overdosing if you use the products in the quantities prescribed. It is also important to keep in mind that you can lose weight without taking any special products and that muscle development is more dependant on how much you exercise and your type of body build, than any supplements you take. It does not really help to add lemon juice to drinking water as this may contribute a few mg of vit C to your diet and improve the taste of the water, but it will not promote weightloss. In addition the lemon juice may erode the enamel of your teeth, so always rinse your mouth with plain water or brush your teeth after drinking pure lemon juice. Rather stick to a low-fat diet and daily exercise to achieve results.
