Sand Worms

My son recently returned from a trip to Mozambique and it seems he has got a sand worm under the skin on his foot. The thing moves around and causes a crazy itch. What could you suggest I give him to get rid of the worm.

Hallo Michelle
Ask your Doctor to spray the area with ethyl chloride - it freezes the skin and underlying tissue for a few seconds, killing the sandworm. For the itching one can try local or tablet antihistamines.
