Dear Jacqui
If your scalp starts to itch seconds after eating salty or spicy foods, this could be an allergic reaction. If the condition causes distress it may be advisable to have a medical examination so that the doctor can arrange tests to determine which spice or food component you are reacting to. Once you have a diagnosis you will be able to avoid the offending foods.
