S-C REACTIVE PROTEIN IN BLOOD

Normal levels are between 0.0-8.0 and mine = 14.6
Is this a sign of heart failure?

Only symptoms I do experience:
(1) Swollen ankles
(2) Swollen on top of left foot

I do experience NO pain in body.

BNP (B-type natriuretic peptide) is the accurate blood test to do to evaluate and keep track of heart failure. CRP is only necessary if infection is suspected. CRP of 14.6 is very low elevated and if infection is suspected, your doctor should do further tests.
