Dear Prof

Since Monday my 15th month old has had a fever. Mid 37s. He also has an upset tummy. I took him to the doc on Tuesday, because he was really not himself. He said he has an upper resp infection, that''s why he has the fever and I just have to adjust his diet for the tummy and give him some smecta. But his fever is getting higher, now mid 38s. It is also harder to break. The only thing really working is empaped and obv with a runny tummy it''s not the best option. Yesterday afternoon his one side of his face looked very red, like the start of a rash, but it has disapeared again. He is not struggling with his nose. The doc gave me otrivin, but I just keep using the saline spray. He is also not coughing. So, I don''t give him the prospan. He did have that roundworm a month ago (when I gave him the vermox) and the doc then gave me something with an S , which I had to give him to him immediately. Could that have caused his tummy to be upset even more? What else can I try to help him?
