Hi Hestia, lovely to hear from you and so nice to see owners doing their 'paw-work'! Your very first stop should be to look at all the breeders for Rotti's on the KUSA website. They have very strict rules and guidelines and are the only breed org that I know of that is recognized world wide. It will mean that you may very well pay a bit more, but you are bringing any animal into your home that will be with you for years to come, so in retrospect, a good investment. I think we also have a breed profile on my free website for all dogs owners below, and you can also download the 2 e-books of Dr. Dunbar, which will give you an excellent foundation. The link to Friends of the Dog is http://www.friendsofthedog.co.za/ and just click on the Dog Breed Tab.. The link to KUSA is
http://kusa.co.za/ and then just look through both the accredited breeders and the breeders. Good luck!
