Rib pains

My uncle is a diabetic and was recently diagnosed with TB. We were told that we might need to be tested, pending the out come of his tests...not sure what they meant. Well, I am concerned, I am having terrible pain in my ribs when I breathe. I have not broken them I would know. Could this be a symptom of TB? I have done some reading on the subject, but haven' t found anything specific.

My weight is dropping and I have morning coughs as well.

Thanks

Dear Tracy
I think it will be a good idea to have yourself tested for TB - a chest x/ray and sputum test will be needed.
