Resignation

My husband is a Shareholder/Director in his Company for the past 4 years. [he has been with the company 15 years] He works under a lot of stress/pressure he is at work from Mon-Sun. This morning he had enough and handed in his resignation, I was upset with him because he came home he had, had a dispute with one of the Directors, I would like to know if he can get into trouble just coming home. please help
