removing the mirena

I had the mirena inserted in Nov last year. I want to remove the device and a colleague of mine said her boyfriend just pulled hers out. Can I do it myself or are there dangers involved in this. We are wanting to have a baby.....

Get your doctor to do it. You' d rather be safe than sorry, especially if you' re going to be trying to conceive.
