regarding previous question i asked

hi there Cyberdoc

i asked about the amenorrhea and fertility.
condition = female athlete triad
age = 26
have always had irregular cycles, but havent had period in about a year perhaps?
contraceptives = not applicable, neither is there any possibility obviously of pregnancy (> 1 year amenorrheaic).

is this more a body fat or body weight scenario (i know about low oestrogen etc), but could i have a low BMI, higher body fat and then get period, or MUST i gain weight?

sorry for long post and possible silly question.

Hallo 123
Don't look at your weight or body fat - look at your BMI - try to get it above 18 to increase fertility. You can always lose a few kilograms again after falling pregnant but your body needs the little bit of extra fat for the metabolism of esterogen. PS it is not a silly question!
