Thank you for your reply Doc.

Can my GP do a sonar to determine if I ovulate or not? Just asking, because we live in a rural area far away from a gynaecologist.

If your GP has a sonar machine and is trained, yes. Other means of determining is doing an ovulation test (you can buy this at the pharmacy) or check your basal body temperature (see how : http://www.babycentre.co.uk/preconception/suspectingaproblem/chartingyourtemperature/)
