We''ve been to the Vet again. They took X-rays and assured us her organs are healthy and there is no intestinal blockage. There just seems to be a lot of inflammation in the intestines. They gave us another course of antibiotics, this time for 10 days. However, our dog is refusing to eat, and when she gets even a small bite it, she vomits. She also has diarrhea, still. Do you think it''s only inflammation? What could be the cause? Could it be something else? She''s just getting worse and worse and we really don''t know what to do anymore. Especially if the Vet sends us home saying she looks healthy. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. 2 Pin It user comments Posted by: ICE | 2012/07/16 Yes, take her to another vet for a second opinion. My boxer girl once hurt her back. The third vet managed to diagnose her correctly, the other two (different practices) only send us home saying there is " nothing clinically wrong with the dog" . But we KNEW something was off, she was not herself, so we kept on trying until we got to a vet who was also a good diagnostician (needless to say, we are still with him 4 years later, even though it is a good 40 minutes drive from home!). I''m not sure what to suggest, your doggie really seems to be battling, shame! Reply to Tanya Want to comment?
