Re: HIV negatine partner

Hi Doc
I am on ARV’ s and my boyfriend is negative. We had sex on the 2011-03-18 and a condom bust. He went to the Doctor and the doc put him on ARV’ S for a month. Do you think he can be infected?

Hallo Lerata
If you are on ARV's and your viral load count is low, and he used preventative ARV's, the risk of getting infected is low. He needs to have himself tested 3 months after the incident and again at 6 months.
