Dear G
If you are always feeling tired, cold and have gained weight then I would think that you either suffer from an underactive thyroid (which could explain the obesity in particular) or iron- or vit B12-deficiency anaemia (the latter 2 deficiencies cause anaemia which would make you feel tired, listless and depressed). You don't mention which tests were done, but if you were not tested for thyroid, insulin, and anaemia, then please ask the dr to do these tests for you. You could also be suffering from depression. If this is a factor then please consult a clinical psychologist. I cannot say which type of B vitamin would be most effective because if you do have a vit B12 deficiency and have developed pernicious anaemia then the vit B12 would be indicated. If you are depressed then vit B complex would be more useful.
I hope you can pinpoint what is causing your tiredness and the other symptoms.
