Q.

Rapid Test

Got my test result and cd4=895 viral load=undetectable, after getting rsult passed at another docter and did rapid test, guess what it came negative.I wonder how possible it can be, it might be that other people think they are negative by rapid test until they get sick, or maybe the rapid test cannot detect my virus as it is undetectable at a certain measurement.

My friend, answer the question. Have you tested positive on an Elisa and confirmed positive on a Western Blot?

I did blood test in 2002, I only do VL and CD4 test twice a year.Do you think I am cured(just pushing it), I think this rapid results are not reliable, you might have full cake with someone
negative on rapid test and assume she is negative while Elisa can say something different.I think I will go for Elisa soon maybe I might be lucky after 10 years.

It cannot detect the virus when you are undetactable. Elisa is the best
