On the one hand you may lose some weight because of the day-long fast, but the chances are that eating a large meal at night when you will be starving is going to counteract your slimming attempts. Because of your lack of food intake during the day you will also not have the energy to exercise. So please wait until the fast is over and then go on a balanced low-fat diet and do regular exercise.
