radiation treatment side effects

Hi Doc

My father recently had a 6 week radiation treatment for Hodgkinsons disease and is now faced with a very burnt and sensitive neck area. He completed the treatment about 2 weeks ago and the neck is still sore - in fact it has become quite raw in the area.
Is there anything that can be done or medication that can be used to treat these radiation type burns which are at the moment very painful and uncomfortable

Regards

Hallo Greg
Try Burnshield hydrogel or Burnshield dressing?
