I really don''t know where or who to turn to anymore! 10 years ago i had a first rib resection. For the last few years the pain is back in my right shoulder. Went for bloodtest and i was diagnosed with RA by my GP. He started me on methotrexate, celebrex, be tab folic acid, be tab prednisone and eltroxen for my tiriod. I could only see the rumatoloog after 3 months...i gained 8 kg in this time. Saw prof Reuter last week and he then said i don''t have RA but Fybromyalgia. He prescribed lyrica, tremecet and trepiline. I felt like a zombie for 2 days after taking that. I had about all the side effects. Appitite was something else! I am already very overweight and cannot afford to gain one more kg. Prof is on holiday and cannot tell me what to do now? All these different diagnoses and medicine are confusing me. Please help me!?
