&quot pimple"  in the area of the vagina

Hi doc

I have a small " pimple" that has appeared near the entrance to my vagina. It''s a couple of mm in diameter and can be moved around without pain.

Is this a normal event or something that should be checked out?

If it is in the hairy area, it may be an infected hair follicle. If not, it could be a gland. If it persists, have it checked out.

Best wishes

From my internet research, it looks like a Bartholin cyst. I''ve read that they can go away by themselves.

How long should I leave it for before going to a doctor?
